Tide Creative - Logo Round 1

So yeah. I have been working like mad lately, on a bunch of projects. Some are for clients, some for friends, and others for organizations I'm a part of.

I won't say what Tide Creative is yet, as its still in the works and things are just starting to come together.

Although I'm not too fond of the typography at the moment ( i sorta slapped it on there last minute because I wanted to show this logo to a friend ), I do personally like the mark. It is by no means near being completed.

I'd love to add more to the wave. Kinda...detail it and really flesh it out, however as most of you know, the subtle details would be lost when scaling down, and could even (in a bad scenario) make the mark harder to distinguish.

So yeah...future versions will include slight variations of the mark, and a ton of change to the typography.

This is a far stretch from my usual style and what I'm used to. I had to fight off the urge to make something 3d, but I think that this would/will have more impact anyways.

As always I'd love to hear your thoughts. Comments, crit, anything is appreciated.

nice, I like it all except for the typog, like you said and I think there is too much glare at the top of the wave, it's too burnt out. Other than that, nice work!

I'd kill the glow on the text, but other than that, that's pretty slick. Good work.
